Instrument Assisted Massage

Massage Room

Instrument Assisted Massage involves a tool utilized to perform massage on a patient. The tool is used against the skin, moving quickly in different directions as fascia is multi-directional tissue. By doing this it frees layers of adhesion in the tissue and allows blood to move towards the surface which is part of the healing process, you may sometimes see redness or bruising involved when using the tool.

Some conditions Instrument Assisted Massage may be able to help include:

  • Tendonitis
  • Post surgical and tranmatic scars
  • Plantar fascitis
  • Neck pain
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
